a tuk tuk for salvation & celebration - a burning man project
It’s hard to describe Burning Man to someone who has never been.
2019 will be my 6th year attending, all in a row, & the best way I can attempt to characterize is a week of PURE MAGIC, if you haven’t experienced before & that only exists because of the people that attend. Every element is created, gifted, & shared by the artists, creators, builders, bakers, engineers, metal workers, fire dances, scientists, mathematicians, doctors, ultra-runners, & every average Jane & Joe that attend. The ineffable enchantment of the playa at Burning Man is almost incomprehensible until you’ve experienced it yourself.
This year, I’ve committed my energy & time to help create a few of those magical & ineffable experiences on playa. One of these experiences will be designed, constructed, produced & presented by a group of seriously hard working creatress women & myself
➾ ➾ ➾ Tuk Tuk Project: Salvation & Celebration.
The vision of this Tuk Tuk is a pure sensory experience brought to life as a salvation oasis in the middle of the desert. Once you have found this divine salvation station, you soul will begin to awaken the moment you enter. Mother Earth’s gifts will be celebrated, connected & presented to engage each of your senses through dried flowers, resins, & herbs, sacred smoke, oils, mists, salves, & perfumes, & consciously crafted cocktails using sacred plant bitters. Each woman in the project is giving from the deepest part of her soul, this is the divine feminine, energy we are tapping into to create the experience of the tuk tuk.
The Tuk Tuk Salvation + Celebration experience will be brought to life for YOU, whether you are coming home or staying home, there will be many more opportunities to experience this project off the playa. Your donation, no matter the amount & no matter if it’s financial or dedicated time, will help us create a vehicle of dreams, magic, & ceremony to enjoy for many years to come. In addition, there is absolutely no donation requirement at all to enjoy this experience! Simply seeing you immerse in the Salvation & Celebration of this project will fill our hearts immensely.
