why is the scent so subtle?

We are very accustomed to very strong perfumes and fragrances that can sometimes be overpowering. Adding too much of a perfume or fragrance can lead to allergic reactions, trigger migraines, and be harmful to your skin. This can happen with both synthetic scents and essential oils, so it's very important to have the right dilution when putting these amazing oils onto our skin. Each batch has the exact amount of essential oil scents to keep it safe for every day, long term use. This can make the product's scent less "potent" than your typical off-the-shelf perfume or lotion, but rest assured you're keeping yourself safe. Plus, your subtle scent will be warmly welcomed by those around you!

I found a small chunk in my body butter... what is it?

Being handmade in small batches means just that: each product is truly handmade by a mixer! I spend at least 30 minutes per batch purely mixing the ingredients to make it as whipped & buttery smooth as possible, but sometimes stubborn little bits of the organic, unrefined shea butter stay intact. All this means is that you got a little extra shea butter in your product! Simply rub these pieces into your skin & enjoy the extra boost of Vitamins A + E & collagen!

As this is a one-woman-business with products being made by hand in small batches, all orders will be shipped out on the Saturday of that week. For example, if you placed an order on Monday Jan 1, then your products would be made on Wednesday Jan 3 and shipped out on Saturday Jan 6. You should receive a notification when your order is shipped out. If you do not receive this notification after 7 days, please email hello@almaonda.com. 

Returns will only be granted if a product has caused an allergic reaction & cannot be used. Every product is made with allergy-friendly ingredients, so this should be very rare that an allergic reaction occurs.
